The Yankees beat the A's 7-3 Tuesday night in Oakland, extending their winning streak to five straight games. Javier Vazquez pitched better than he had in his previous two starts, going 5 1/3 innings, allowing 3 runs--it was good enough for his first win of the year. Alex Rodriguez hit a 3-run home run.
