The New York Yankees defeated the Texas Rangers today in the Bronx by a score of 5-2 and in the process completed a 3 game sweep. Andy Pettitte pitched 8 strong innings and Mark Teixeira and Jorge Posada each homered in the Yankees win. For Texeira, it was his first of the season.
