Pitching Woes In The Windy City

You can't expect to win when your starting pitching can't make it past the 3rd inning...that's what happened Friday night in Chicago for the Yanks...Starter Sergio Mitre tossed only 3 innings allowing 5 earned runs on 7 hits...

The Yankees went on to lose 10-5...

Additional Notes:

The bullpen--in particular Aceves, couldn't pick up the slack...he pitched 1 2/3 innings allowing 4 earned runs on 3 hits...you have to wonder if his shoulder is still bothering him...

Eric Hinske had a 2-run home run...Alex Rodriguez had 3 hits...Johnny Damon, Hideki Matsui and Robinson Cano had 2 hits apiece...

Later today, A.J. Burnett will be on the hill...

Let's Go Yanks!!!!!
