Yanks Can't Solve Hanson, Braves' Bullpen

Tuesday night in Atlanta the Yankees were defeated 4-0 by the Braves. Tommy Hanson, starter for the Tribe, tossed 5 1/3 shutout innings...the Yankees managed only 4 hits against him...

Once the Braves bullpen took over, the Yankees couldn't manage any hits...

So the Braves take the first of the 3 game series in Atlanta...

Additional Notes:

Chien-Ming Wang had a decent start or at least showed that he's improving...He really only had one bad inning--the 3rd where he gave up 3 runs...he pitched 5 innings and allowed 3 runs on 6 hits...

Phil Hughes had an impressive 2 innings of work where he allowed no runs and no hits...

Tomorrow, Joba Chamberlain takes the hill...

Let's Go Yanks!!!!!
