Those Stinging Rays

It used to be a given that a team like the New York Yankees was supposed to beat a team like the Tampa Bay Rays. After watching tonight's game, where the Yankees lost 7-1, I'm not sure you can say that anymore. The Yankees are starting to look a lot like the underdog in this 4-game series...

The story of tonight's game was that Andy Pettitte just didn't have it and Matt Garza did...

Pettitte allowed 5 runs on 8 hits in 4 innings of work-far from vintage Andy Pettitte...Garza on the other hand didn't allow even 1 run in 7 innings of work...

And the Rays showed how important speed can be too...offensively and defensively...

The Yankees could use some of the aggressive base running the Rays exhibit...


Tomorrow night we'll need a Wang like performance...GO YANKS!
