Moose Wins 5th Straight

After Wednesday night's game against Tampa you get the feeling that "The Moose is Loose" is something we'll be saying a lot this year... Chalking up his 5th win in a row, Moose gave the Yankees exactly the kind of clutch pitching performance they needed after losing the first 2 games of this series...

Moose made like a stopper as he pitched 6 1/3 innings of work where he only allowed 1 run on 5 hits...he was sharp tonight and every indication is that he'll continue to pitch well...

Additional Notes:

Although the Yankees weren't able to muster much offense, thanks to the effort by Moose the 2 runs they did produce were enough to secure the victory...

The Yankees Defense was a factor too..A Melky Cabrera outfield assist, 2 plays by Giambi at first-yes, Giambi at first, and a key double play in the 7th...

Robinson Cano had a 4 hit night for a change...that's more like the Cano we know...let's hope this is the start of a trend...

Joba and Mo were outstanding in relief...

Ian Kennedy returns to the rotation tomorrow afternoon...Considering the Rays will be countering with Kazmir, things should be interesting...

GO YANKS!
