Tribe Pounces On Pettite In 5th

Ugh!!!!...that's the only way to describe tonight's game, if you happen to be a Yankee fan. We saw Andy Pettitte manage to pitch himself into the 5th inning with a 3-1 lead despite not being at his sharpest-then, after retiring the first two hitters he faced that inning, it all fell apart. 4 consecutive hits followed-2 singles, a 3-run home run by Jhonny Peralta and a solo shot by Franklin Gutierrez...this one was over...

Traber pitched the 6th allowing 2 walks a hit and another run to score, proving yet again that he's more of a question than an answer...The only bright spot in the Yankee bullpen tonight came courtesy of Johathan Albaladejo who pitched a scoreless 7th and 8th...didn't give up a hit even...

Not much to speak of offensively tonight except hrs by Matsui and Giambi-he had 2!

You would think we'd win a game where Giambi hits 2 home runs...

Tomorrow we'll see if Kennedy can rebound...he needs a good performance...

Oh yeah-one more thing-Boston just lost to the Rays!!!! Go Rays!

GO YANKS!!!!!
