First Inning Mistake Costly For CC, Yanks

CC. Sabathia gave up a 3-run home run against Kurt Suzuki in the first inning and unfortunately, it was enough to secure a victory for the A's over the Yankees. The Yanks were only able to score 2 runs--solo home runs by Marcus Thames and Mark Teixeira, and ended up losing this one 4-2. Still, they took 2 out of 3 games in the series.

**In the 6th inning the Yankees turned a triple play--A-Rod to Cano to Johnson--the first triple play in more than 40 years for the Yanks.
