CC, Yankees' Offense Struggle

The Yankees lost to the Rays 6-2 last night in Tampa thanks to a combination of lackluster hitting--they couldn't do much against Kazmir--and a less than stellar performance by CC Sabathia...

However, the 6-2 loss was only their second loss since the All-star break, and if they win tonight, they'll still have won the series from the Rays...

Additional Notes:

Sabathia tossed 5 2/3 innings allowing 5 earned runs on 9 hits...

Mark Melancon relieved Sabathia and pitched 2 1/3 scoreless innings...

Alex Rodriguez and Hideki Matsui had 2 hits apiece and Matsui had both Yankee rbi's...

Tonight, Joba Chamberlain will be on the hill...

Let's Go Yanks!!!!!
