Yankee Offense Remains Stagnant...For Now

One of these days the Yankee offense will come to life-of that, I'm sure-I just wish they would hurry up already! Should Devil Rays' pitching be this much of a challenge? When Posada drove in two runs with a bases loaded single in the bottom of the 8th, I really thought they would come back and win-but, like yesterday-the offense shows flashes of life and then dies out...

On the pitching end, Pettitte could have done better, but as long as he stays healthy I don't think there's anything to worry about...Bruney was outstanding in the two innings of relief with an impressive 4 strikeouts...

On another note...That Melky suspension hasn't helped...the ball off of Matsui's glove yesterday probably would have been caught by Damon...in today's game Damon would have at least made a better attempt to catch the Gomes' hr that just barely made it over...and I would've liked to see Melky throw to the plate instead of Damon when Crawford came home in the 3rd on a sac fly by Gomes....I know Crawford is lightning on the bases, but still...

Wang pitches tomorrow and let's hope the Yankee offense finally shows up!

GO YANKS!
