Thursday night in the Bronx, the Tigers defeated the Yankees 3-2 and with that goes the Yanks' season...the Tigers win the ALDS...Yanks couldn't do much against Tigers starter Doug Fister or their bullpen--they had their opportunities, but couldn't get a big hit when they needed it...Robinson Cano had a hr...Yanks starter Ivan Nova meanwhile left after 2 innings due to injury--in those 2 innings he allowed 2 earned runs...

A good season, but ultimately a disappointment as they were eliminated in the first round...
