Pettitte Wins Pitcher's Duel

Yesterday in Toronto, Andy Pettitte won a pitcher's duel with Roy "Doc" Halladay...Pettitte pitched 6 2/3 innings allowing only 1 earned run on 4 hits...Halladay pitched a complete game against the Yanks but surrendered 4 earned runs on 10 hits...

The Bronx Bombers got 3 big home runs against Halladay and they all occurred in the 8th and 9th innings...

If the Yanks beat the Blue Jays today, they sweep the two game series...

Johnny Damon and Mark Teixeira hit back to back home runs in the 8th inning...In the 9th Hideki Matsui added a solo shot...
