Yankees Edge Past Blue Jays 3-2

Phil Hughes turned in a respectable 6 innings of work allowing only 2 runs, while the Yankee offense executed the fundamentals when they needed to. Back to back sacrifice bunts by Damon and Jeter in the 8th were critical, setting the stage for Abreu's game winning single...

Tonight's game illustrates how important those little things can be. Against solid pitching, getting down a bunt in a key spot is sometimes the only way to win...

Yanks are off to a good start at 2-1.
