Bronx Bombers Break Out The Long Ball In 6-1 Victory

Over the first 9 games of the season, the Yankees didn't have a game where they hit more than one home run. Last night they broke out in a big way, belting 3 round trippers for their first multi hr game of the year. Melky belted one in the 3rd, while A-Rod and Posada delivered back- to-back blasts in the 9th en route to a 6-1 win over the Royals...

Andy Pettitte pitched as advertised after a Yankee loss, going 6+ allowing only 1 run...we salvaged one before the Red Sox series...

...heard somebody say on a sports show yesterday that it seems too early to be playing them...

...but it's never too early to beat them! GO YANKS!
