Beckett Outduels Moose

On Saturday Moose pitched well-unfortunately Beckett pitched slightly better, enough to beat the Yankees 4-3, with 2 big hits from Manny of course, who always seems to be a thorn in the Yankees' side...looking forward though, if Moose keeps us in there every time for 5 or 6 innings, we'll take it...

On another note...It's frustrating enough to watch the Yanks lose-especially when it's by one run, but then to have that rain delay in the mix...and talk about anti-climactic...we wait more than 2 hrs to see A-Rod face Papelbon with the tying run in scoring position and he whiffs on 3 straight pitches...make it interesting at least...

Papelbon's tough...Yanks couldn't even get a runner on base in the 9th, though Posada and Canos' at-bats made him work a little...

Tomorrow Hughes takes the mound...what a boost for him if he can beat the Sox...GO YANKS!
